Blake was born and raised in rural Benton County near Vinton. Growing up on a timber acreage instilled in him a love of trees and recreational land. Activities such as fishing, hunting, and planting trees have been a passion since a young age. Blake’s father and brother are farmers in the area and land upkeep/management have been a growing interest for him over the past 15-20 years.

Blake graduated from Luther College in Decorah and then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport and has owned Wayson Family Chiropractic in Cedar Falls since 2005. While he loves serving people through Chiropractic care he has long wanted to work with farm and recreational land. He takes a special interest in acreage development to help others realize the dream of country living and self-sustainability.

Blake lives on an acreage south of Waterloo with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, planting trees, beekeeping, flying, and coaching youth sports.
